A place to introduce yourself.

Hi, since I'm new around here, just want to know if there is a place to introduce yourself? I'm new, and I would like to introduce myself. Many people like to feel the comfort and warmth of people they will get associated with, so a simple hi, might not hurt anyone. Also, I guess it's to keep new-comers, coming back.
