Hi everyone,
I want to combine several useful activities: rise skills in english, programming and creating useful code that will be able to help people in need.
So I decide to create a learning group where everyone can join for free. We will discuss about programming and try to create some kind of web application that will be a base for many new webpages or web apps (this is current idea about learning project, but everyone can suggest any change to the idea of the project).
I want to use the code base (if possible entirely) to build a website for people with any diseases, where they will be able to find more people like they and talk about that how to handle issues related to their disease and find some specialist (even on the other side of the world) that can answer us a question. The specialists can help the people better if they will have access to more people with the same or similar symptoms of diseases (especially if the disease is rare).
I tried to create the website few years ago: Old project
The programming part is not started yet, but that doesn't matter now, you can join now or later. I will try to record the meetings where I describe some solution that can be used in our project, so you will be able to watch it later to know why we use some tools or solution, what are advantages, disadvantages and alternatives of used solutions.
So, if you want to join to the group, then you are welcome, you can be advanced developer, beginner or you can just decide that you want to be a software developer. Skills doesn't matter, desires are the most important.
