How can I uninstall Pear?

I've recently upgraded PHP in Windows and I wanted to upgrade the Pear version. I ran the Pear.bat file again assuming it will upgrade, but instead it installed another instance. So now I have 2 running, one in c:\php\pear and the second in c:\php\pear\pear.

Pear is a great tool to use with PHP but it's so hard to even start learning how to do basic things.
 
pear is nothing but set of php classes...
you can directly delete the PEAR folder if you are SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT USING any of pear libs
