can't be done :) (and I'm glad it can't :D I want to choose my printer (out of 200+ on the network) before printing :)

I simply wouldn't use a website that had something like that on it. No one in their right mind would. There's a reason that box pops up...so people can choose THEIR OWN SETTINGS! Very user-unfriendly

yeah i guess, never thought of it that way. just a security thing i wanted to add on so people couldnt print this thing more than once. Will find another way to do it.

Well, if something like that is possible, I would think it'd be client-side, not server-side, so PHP wouldn't be the answer. Perhaps try a JavaScript forum?

Out of curiosity, why would you not want someone to print something more than once?

And besides, even if you WERE able to do what you want to do, anyone could simply hit the print screen button, paste it in an imaging program and print it as many times as they want, not to mention the whole Xerox machine thing...

Hi TheIceman5!
Actually you may do this, but.... :!:
If you may send to your printer esc command for old printer or use SPL protocol....
Actually it's very hard fot simly deadly! :!:
