Once we can clone exact replicas of ourselves, the next step will be to transfer our memory and personality into our newly cloned brains, which will allow us to truly live forever. Since we will be able to remember all our past, we will be able to accumulate knowledge ad infinitum.

Have you visited the website of the chief Raël ( who calls himself an extraterrestrials descendent )
http://www2.rael.org/

And see what they ask for speeches -->
Raël is available for public speeches about human cloning for a fee of $100 000 US. More than 90 % discount rates if the speech is for university students only.
I don't this is ethic.
By now there isn't enough knowledge to be 100% self confident that the baby will be absolutely healthy.
Even if the experiment is finally successful, there are no guarranties that the next cloned baby would be healthy.
Actually there are many chances that the baby will have physical injuries.
A long way is still in front of human clonation to be a good and safe choice. Anyway, I only support parcial clonation of the human body from mother cells to cure illness.
Imagine that it was possible to make a clone and transfer all knowledge. Man, the first 10 years would be so weird. You have to go back to the tiny diaper stage and relearn all your motor skills for the new body. Everyone would pinch your cheek and tell you how cute you were... that is unless your motor skills came along too. Then you'd be working for some computer programming agency while sitting in a booster chair.
