iframe replacement for iPad or iPad viewer??

iframes seem to cause me nothing but trouble on the iPad. I am using them to pull queries from a database in each tab (This part seems ok) and that output gives me a link list of PDF (right now it is just a html page with links to PDF files for testing perposes). Those links open a PDF in a iframe on the right side. Problem being that the PDF files can't scroll etc on a iPad. Is there a way to use something other then a iframe to open a PDF from a link into a DIV, Object, etc?
 
I found out that a PDF in a iframe dosen't load the defualt PDF viewer correctly. I have switched it to Google Viewer or other enbeded PDF viewer.
