Import data from Access Database to MYSQL

Dear All,


I have some data in access database.
I wish to import it (keeping the same structure) in MySQL.

Please let me know whether any one know smart way to do this.

Also I want to know what will be procedure for importing data from databases like Oracle, Sybase, Informix etc

I donot know whether thsi is answered or not.

Well, Access is an ODBC complient DB. There is software around called MySQL ODBC (search on Google) that might let you transfer this over. I've never used it myself, so I don't know. But apparently some people using it to manipulate their MySQL on a remote installation through Access on their local machine. If it can do that then I'm presuming there's a way to get it there in the first place :)
