Internal linking categories

Hello, everybody!

I'm new to the forum. I had a question I'd like to ask. Mainly I would need someone who knows PHP code and also wordpress, since I wanted to do an internal linking action on the https://www.bcn-advisors.com/en website.

The idea would be to place a block only on the categories of the website but only integrate it into these pages and they will link to each other.

Could someone give me a hand?

Greetings

  1. Identify the categories: Determine which categories on your website you want to target for integrating the block. Make a note of the category names or slugs.
  2. Create the block: In your WordPress admin panel, navigate to "Appearance" and then "Widgets". Choose a widget area where you want to place the block (e.g., sidebar, footer). Create a new widget or select an existing one that suits your needs.
  3. Configure the block: Customize the content, appearance, and any specific functionalities of the widget to match your requirements. You can add text, images, links, or any other elements you want to display within the block.
  4. Assign the widget to category pages: Locate the widget's visibility settings or options. Look for a field or setting that allows you to specify where the widget should appear. Enter the category slugs or names you noted earlier.
  5. Save and test: Save the widget settings and visit your category pages to see if the block appears as desired. Make adjustments if needed until you achieve the desired integration.
By following these steps, you can place a block specifically on the categories of your website and have it appear only on those pages. The block can provide links to other relevant categories or any other content you wish to include.
