My Culver City, CA client is seeking a team-oriented PHP Developer. This is a full-time, on-site position. Likely candidates will have 1-3 years experience. You will work closely with their Account Services and Creative teams on a portfolio of our Fortune 1000 accounts. Current clients include Jack in the Box, Curves International, Roland, California Pizza Kitchen, and Blue Cross of California.
My client will consider candidates interested in relocating to the LA area; however, relocation expenses will not be covered.
Responsibilities:
* Program large, database-driven web sites
* Develop technical and functional specification documents
* Thoroughly review all work prior to delivery
* Able to take direction
* Self-motivator and good attitude
* Willingness to learn and apply new technologies as needed
Qualifications:
* Must be able to create a functional web page using only Notepad or similar text editor
* Must have 1-3 years experience in similar position (working directly with or within an interactive agency a plus)
* Must have good PHP 5 knowledge
* Must have good MySQL knowledge
* Must be familiar with JavaScript, XML and DHTML
* BS Degree (Computer Science preferred)
Experience with the following is helpful but not required:
* Object Oriented Programming
* Unit Testing
* Design Patterns
