load data from mysql

hi,
i create a table with php that some cells of this table have to load some information from a maysql database and show them but somtimes this information is long then this cells can't show them perfectly.so i wanna decrease the font size that shows this information . if it possible how?

do you mean you create an HTML output? in that case use styles or CSS, font is also possible..
or are you doing this via commandline?

i created a table in html then converted that to a php page.and i created my sql database with commandline .please tell me how can i decrease font size that cells of my table can show the information from database pefectly.
