HI,
I want to buy a chat and I would like to decide between PHP, Java or Flash chat.
Can you tell me what are the advantages of a PHP chat? Does it waste more ram, disk space, bandwith or less?

Hi,

In my opinion, a php chat will be the fastest and will not load the server as much as the others. A flash chat will look nicer. So i think the decision depends on the number of users and the server... I would not go for java... but it is just my opinion, will be nice to collect others...

If you want it to look nice, go with Flash... personally, I would have to use PHP as I don't know much JS or Flash...

I can't see PHP being bad on bandwidth, RAM etc though...
