Setting <input type="file"> value

Hi all,

May i know how can i set a file input value instead of manually clicking on the browse button and select a file?

I have the string of the file path but i could not pass it to the file input tag.

did you try value="" attribute?

Yes i have tried .value= but it didn't work.

Pls help..
