We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer / Full Stack PHP Developer to join a passionate team of retail e-commerce experts in central Manchester.
The Venditan platform is award winning and you will be a key member of the team, involved in the growth and development of groundbreaking applications & features, that are changing the face of retail.

Responsibilities and duties
- Web application development, mainly in OO PHP
Working with the development team to improve the architecture while building front-end and or scaling back-end services
Supporting and inspiring other engineers to build the best e-commerce platform in the UK
Ensuring that technical decisions support our performance goals.
Qualifications and skills
- Whilst we are looking for an all-rounder, we are open to levels of experience. So if you are more Front-end or Back-end focused, we recommend you apply anyway:
Degree or self-taught
3yrs+ in Software Development
Front-end or Back-end bias considered
You should have worked with scalable applications
Solid understanding of webstack; HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP 5 or 7
Experience with; React.js, Redux, React.native, Electron.js, Node.js
You should be familiar with;
- MVC’s
GIT / Github
Memcached / Redis
Apache / Nginx
