some character at the start of the page

The main index page of the phorum has some character at the start of the page,
it is not visible when browser's content type is set to UTF-8 but is visible when set to iso-8859-1
the template designer.. please take a look,
you don;t want to spoil the wonderful new Bluecurve theme look
