Upgrading PHP 7.0 to 7.1

Hi

I just created a new installation using php 7.0 on Ubuntu 16, but want to know if there are instructions to upgrade to php 7.1 I found some articles but they all point to this repository which I don't know how trustworthy it is.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eek:ndrej/php

Is there a 'trusted official' way of doing this? Should I attempt compiling my own?
