I have recently moved from Windows Servers to Linux and am trying to get the Pretty URL's and have managed to get it from:
http://mydomain.com/page.php?id=1
To
http://mydomain.com/1
I would like to get it to retrieve the actual name of the page rather than the ID number of the page for example
http://mydomain.com/page.php?id=1
Would be
http://mydomain.com/home
The code I am currently using is below and my sites are hosted on 1&1 if that helps at all:
Code:
RewriteEngine on
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ page.php?id=$1 [L,QSA]
