I have just been informed that on certain tablets (browsers) the 'poster' in the video tag does not show and we get a white blank area instead of the GIF image stated in the poster element.
Just like we can suggest different video feeds to use and the device will use the first one that it can use, can we suggest different 'posters' and the device will use the one that it can use.
Is this possible ?
why?... well I thought it would be querky to put an animation GIF instead. Only a two frame one, but seems to do what I wanted. But GIFs do not work on all devices.
