Where can I find the xp system icons? You know, the ones you see in the toolbars and menus of office xp or office 2003 such as the save icon, print icon, etc.

they are stored in .dll files
images are compact with compiler to make them as one .dll file
open the dll in MSVC to see them as resource ...

How about the toolbar icons in Office 2002/2003? Where in C:\Program Files\ can I find it?

try this link
http://www.tipsdr.com/windows-xp-icons.html
http://www.aha-soft.com/articons/faq/q2.htm

About the first link, I'm already using WinXP. And besides, the software is not free. Didn't see any trial or evaluation links.

The second link is a cut-off on Microsoft.com's website. Already read this several times however I'm not good at creating graphics.

[download 1.5megs .exe file ]
http://www.absolutefuturity.com/imagegrabber/windows%20xp%20icons.htm
http://download.com.com/3001-2325-7029229.html

Link 1: Timeout error.
Link 2: An image grabber??
Link 3: Am already using WinXP. So how does this actually work if the software was made for Win98/WinMe/Win2000 ?

bit late, but... download a resource editor (there's loads of free ones) and look through any/all dll's and exe's that come with office or xp...

That's all I did!
