So far as I know, you cannot define a constant using a variable.

Re: Adding google recaptcha

The captcha needs to go on your form client side, follow google's instructions and learn more about forms and verification. $name = $_POST['name1']; $email = $_POST['email1']; $message = $_POST['message1']; $contact = $_POST['contact1']; //sanitizing email $email = filter_var($email, FILTER_SANITIZE...

Re: Security of php code for Sql

You still need to validate the user input.

Never trust user input (the data you want to add to your database.)

You haven't explained what you want, if it is putting the current year, then try:

Code: Select all

echo date('Y');

Re: Security of php code for Sql

Security for databases are more about checking user input, your input form does not test the $_POST $username = $_POST['name']; $age = $_POST['age']; $uvindex = $_POST['uvindex']; $mq2 = $_POST['mq2']; You should never trust any user input and should test the validity of it for instance the age must...

I will delete my edit files and try adding one field at a time to see if I can figure out where it is breaking.
How did that go?

Re: local test wampserver

Try this

test2.php // new file

Code: Select all

echo "Testing\n";
error_reporting(E_ALL);
ini_set("display_errors", 1);
echo $should_be_an_error;#Undefined variable
include 'folder1/test.php'
save it in your root folder and execute it.

Have you tried to wrap interval with square [brackets]?

Also did you run the original script on the same system that you are using?

Re: List images from folders and subfolders

It is possible, but could be very time consuming.

You do have choices, learn php, learn html & css or get another framework to use, or wait until they do what you want.

Re: How can I change this to work

Did the original tutorial script work?

What have you changed from the original tutorial script?

When you changed the script did you do it one thing at a time or just change it all?

Re: List images from folders and subfolders

A quick read of their site would lead me to think that an album is in one folder and it does not look any where else. It is possible as you can edit the php file, but this would then mean that you are trying to use it in a way not was not designed for. This may lead to other problems. It's up to you...

Re: Best way to organize this php project?

My thinking is based on the root directory contains index.php and whatever else it needs to have (google thing), then I arrange the directories roughly around the main links I have. All password and database access I put into a folder that can only be accessed from scripts (you'll need to change per...

Re: Method _GET and HREF

It is looking for a form element "tConteudo" and it does not exist so you need to create one called 'tConteudo' That's fair enough about the security, but it could leave your school server at risk; I would suggest getting used to coding with security in mind and a start is not to trust or directly u...

Re: Send Mail to clients

In response to your pm: I don't know enough about what you want, it seems that the link you have given is no longer valid. Were they a hosting provider? Did you use a built in system? What was the system called, what did it do? I suspect they gave you some notice that the service was about to expire...

Re: Method _GET and HREF

It's very dangerous to use un-filtered input from a web page, even if you think that you have supplied it.

the least that you should do is use htmlentities.

Re: local test wampserver

During installation you would have been given a root address for the server, this is what I think you are referring to as your top level. Apache will only process files from this location*. So if the apache root is www. windoze/index.php # can't execute this wamp/html #can't execute here wamp/html/w...
