question about mouse over

Hi,
Can any one help me how can I do the following:
I have a large image, I want to change the color of some pieces of this image only when the mouse passes over these pieces.
I knew the SwapImage, but this will not work with me cuz I am dealing with pieces of one image not swap the whole image.
